  • Mood: Joy
  • Listening to: Come What May ~Nicole Kidman & Ewan McGregor
  • Watching: Dr. Phil is on TV, but I'm not really watching it
So last night I logged on here for the first time in over a month. I had over 50 messages, jounal updates, and new artwork to look at...my bad :)

So what have I been up to in the last month? Well, I came home from school, went back to Southridge for the guard camp, gone to Seattle/Mt Vernon twice, hung out with my buds, and of course I sat on my couch eating potatoe chips and watched the rain fall outside (I'm currently wearing long pants and a sweatshirt....a first for summer time :( ).

I would totally put up my drawing class stuff....except my teacher never gave it back. I e-mail her 3 times and she has yet to get back to me...sad day. I've written one new poem. It was for a poety contest up in Washington that I enteresd on one of my visits up to see family...and I got 1st place thank-you-very-much =p.

Well.... guess that purty much somes it up for now. I'll post my poem sometime soon once I pull it out of the piles of crap that is on my desk...so much for cleaning my room....

I didn't know you got first place in a contest! That's awesome! I told you you were good at that stuff! XD Is it on here? It should be...

Being away at school is like living in a tiny microcosm of humanity that exists in the impossible realm of kids with no parents and no homes; a concentrated cell of unreality that is supposed to give birth to adequately functioning members of society.

The poem isn't on here yet, but I think it should be. I read it, and I really liked it. YAY WINNING-NESS! :) Maybe we can all band together and get her to put it up ;)
