So last night I logged on here for the first time in over a month. I had over 50 messages, jounal updates, and new artwork to look at...my bad

So what have I been up to in the last month? Well, I came home from school, went back to Southridge for the guard camp, gone to Seattle/Mt Vernon twice, hung out with my buds, and of course I sat on my couch eating potatoe chips and watched the rain fall outside (I'm currently wearing long pants and a sweatshirt....a first for summer time ).

I would totally put up my drawing class stuff....except my teacher never gave it back. I e-mail her 3 times and she has yet to get back to me...sad day. I've written one new poem. It was for a poety contest up in Washington that I enteresd on one of my visits up to see family...and I got 1st place thank-you-very-much .

Well.... guess that purty much somes it up for now. I'll post my poem sometime soon once I pull it out of the piles of crap that is on my desk...so much for cleaning my room....

Only 10 more days until I get to go home!!! I'm so excited!

Ok so I know I havn't put anything up on here in like FOREVER but, yeah , I've had way a lot of stuff to do every freaking day....who needs school anyway? My camera is out of battery, and my charger is at home, so you all will have to wait unitl I get home until you see my BIG drawings (unless anyone has a way to post them w/o taking a picture) Sometime after school gets out I'm gonna try writing some poems for this nifty scholorship I found, so those will be up too

Boy I can't wait to get home! Even with work (if that works out )it'll be nice to have the day to chill and not worry about school!

Ummm so yeah it's been a while since I updated my journal, so I felt I needed to change things up a bit.

So far I havn't put up much stuff from my drawing class, but never fear: more will be put up soon . It's all on my BIG paper so it's just finding a way to post it all (i took pictures of a few of them earlier, but my camera charger's gone missing... sad day).

So what's new in my life:
1)I didn't die of the Swine Flu !! So campus was almost completly shut down over the weekend, and we were in "quarintine" (ok not really, we could leave if we wanted, but the OR Health Dept recommened we stay so we didn't infect other places but I escaped to Seattle )

2) Mid-terms are over! Yay! Only 4 weeks left in the year! I did have to re-do my ASL midterm though..stupid DVD didn't burn...grr

3) This Is The One (Utada's english album) comes out next week! I'm super excited...even though I do have to wait a while so Lindsay can go to Target for me and mail it...stupid Monmouth has no shopping

I'm so glad it's a new term. OK, so it started like 2 weeks ago...but still. It's nice to have a fresh start. And new classes, new people...it keeps things a exciting, even if only for a little while. I decided that my WIP poems are going to be set aside. Taking a break from them might help my writers block...and give me a chance to whip out some new stuff . And I'm taking a drawing class this term ! Some of the drawings I did yesterday arn't too horrid looking, so I might put them up here...probobly under my scraps section though...but keep an eye out for them in both my regular gallary and scraps.

I have like, 3 unfinished pieces....and they have been that way for like a month now. I'm having major writer's block. But never fear, I'll get them done....eventually

In other news...winterguard world championships are this week!!!
I'm flying out of Portland tommorrow morning, and wont be back until Sunday. NxNW is ranked 12th as of right now, and they take the top 15 guards of the first round to the final round, so we are sitting in a good place right now . I'm using some of my dad's "frequent flyer miles" to get to Dayton, so because I'm not traveling with the rest of the team, I get to spend 3 hours in the Dayton airport by myself...

I guess that will give me plenty of time to finish those 3 poems
